long days @ work turns my brain into jell~0...

yea...so i've been trying to get my martha stewart on minus the cooking and cleaning...i've been crocheting the first 3 steps of a pattern for the nth time in 2 days. it took me like 3 hrs jus to figure how to read the instructions, to get the first 3 stitches, and blah, blah blah.

DEE'S LIL L<3ve--> on other ladies' blogs, i see the amigurumi dolls they make, and i'm jus soo amazed!! bc i kno it must've been hard, hell, i can barely get past the 2nd row while making a scarf! but while i was damaging my wallet and credit score in the craft store i saw a amigurumi how-to book and they were of lil 8-inch animal plushies--so cute!! i also nabbed another amigurumi how-to book on bigger plushies. now why do i even want to try?? bc i love giraffes and sheep!!! the giraffe was in the mini how-to book, and the sheep was in the bigger book, but i'm sure i might be able to figure out how to add a few things to the mini-hippo to turn it into a sheep...

DEE'S ISSUE--> but the problem is, the book is like in a secret code or something!! ok, it's my fault really, bc i really should have bought a beginner's book first and make an F'n scarf like the noob i am. the book rates each project on a scale of bars from easy to hard, and for the most part, every one of the plushies are easy, but everything is abbreviated!! so i have no F'n idea what's going on and i don't even kno the terminology for anything! so i really do need to make sure i kno my basics before jumping in head long...

yea, so this was jus an update to see where i am. so i read beauty blogs, basically bc i want to read ppl's reviews on things, and the next thing u kno i run out and buy it. (--__--) but since now i have a blog also, i can join the contests these ladies have, {1} bc it's fun, {2} it'll be nice to make some new buds, {3} PRIZES--nuff said. lol. but ultimately, it'll be fun to do a contest and to make new friends, esp since my current friends aren't obssessed w makeup the way i am. so it'll be nice to talk makeup-speak with ppl who understands, lol. there's a contest out for purple and a cosplay one, i think i'm going to do both...i need to look for inspiration and do some experimenting in the meantime.

yea...so i said i would blog more often...u kno, i'm going to quit saying i will and making promises! D-it! i will do what and when i want to do! yea! yea... (--__--)

so yea, school's been out. the last day was the 28th of april. i'm not happy with my grades, but then again i'm not happy with a lot, so i'll jus have to suck it up and move on, yea? well anyways, i'm now an indentured servant to the fam biz, yay!!

i've had this idea for a while, but i couldn't put it to use yet, obviously bc i haven't been blogging. but i want to make each post have a "dee's lil l<3ve" and a "dee's issue." the lil love will be about something i'm currently or have been obsessed with, or rather one thing of all things that i am obsessed with. the issue would be about things that have been running thru my mind at that moment, at some moment that day, or jus at any or all moments of my (sorry, pathetic, crazy, boring, normal, average, not so average, etc.) life. so here goes:

DEE'S LIL L<3ve--> the damn craft store. today i went to hobby lobby and michael's, and i had to force myself to walk past hancock's fabrics twice. i spent a damn fortune that i really did not have. i'm not going to post any pictures bc i'm ashamed to and it'll only prove to u that i was insane. but yea, i love those stores!! i be breaking bank in dem b*tches!! lol. i've been trying to get my martha stewart on (minus the cooking and cleaning) since i have the freedom to before school starts in june. and it's kinda like something for me to do in the shop during slo times instead of wasting my life away surfing the internet or playing my nintendo ds. a lot of them are supposed to be gifts to my fam and friends but i think i might be able to sell the extras in the shop, or etsy. i dunno. i'm not sure i want to mess with that, but then when i think of all the money i spent, i want to dramatically sway, hold my head, do a light faint, and jus weep my F'n eyes out, dude!! (TT__TT)

DEE'S ISSUE--> the damn craft store. i really do need to quit going there. but i hate when i start a project and i don't have all the ish! but even when i reach the store i'll buy more than i need, and not what i need. my room is even like my own personal store, i swear it does have almost everything and everyone basically says it's like shopping at the mall when they see my room. gosh, i really need to curb my spending, bc i mos def can not make it rain, or sprinkle.

so far, i've been really into making phone straps with a hand strap (lol), and i jus finished my first ever project, a necklace, yay!!

this one is for my cousin, she's a sagittarius and she likes blue. i think she was going to but it on her camera...i think.

this one is for my friend, she likes purple. she put it on her camera and it was too cute!! (humbleness oozing from me.)

this is my first jewelry attempt. i started it in march and had to stop bc i ran out of beads, and i jus now finished it, lol. yea, i picked up jewelry making (and the reason for my insane bill at the stores) after a failed night of studying. i was watching youtube videos, and i was like why the hell not?? i go crazy buying jewelry in forever21, so why shouldn't i make my own, better yet, mix and match the pieces i've already bought bc they are jus sitting there. and recycling is good. lol.

and since this was orginally a nail art blog, this is what i did last week or so:


an argyle print on one of my coworkers. she picked out her fav colors and then i went into labor. lol. i also bought a bunch of konad stuff but i haven't put them into any good use. well, jenny, my coworker, and her toes above, opened the packages and decides she can make her phone pretty with them. and they stay on well too without topcoat!!
